Privacy policy

  1. Personal data

We collect, process and use your personal data only with your consent or order for the purposes agreed with you or if there is another legal basis in accordance with the DSGVO; this in compliance with the provisions of data protection and civil law.

We only collect personal data that is required for the implementation and processing of our services or that you have voluntarily provided to us.

Personal data are all data that contain individual details about personal or factual circumstances, for example name, address, email address, telephone number.

  2. Information and deletion

As a data subject, you have the right at any time to information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing, as well as a right to correction, data transfer, objection, restriction of processing and blocking or deletion of incorrect or inadmissibly processed data.

If there are any changes to your personal data, we request that you inform us accordingly. We would like to point out that in the event of a requested deletion of your data, we will no longer be able to provide the services you have requested.

The responsible party for data processing on this website is: daten@semket.com.

If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data by us violates the applicable data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you have the possibility to complain to the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the responsibility of the data protection authority.

  3. Data security

Your personal data is protected by appropriate organisational and technical precautions. These precautions concern in particular the protection against unauthorised, illegal or even accidental access, processing, loss, use and manipulation. Notwithstanding our efforts to maintain an appropriately high level of due diligence at all times, it cannot be ruled out that information you disclose to us via the Internet may be viewed and used by others.

Please note that we therefore accept no liability whatsoever for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission not caused by us and/or unauthorised access by third parties (e.g. hacking attack on email account or telephone, interception of faxes).

  4. Use and storage of data

We will not process the data provided to us for purposes other than those covered by your consent or otherwise by a provision in accordance with the GDPR. An exception to this is the use for statistical purposes, provided that the data made available has been anonymised.

We will not store your data for longer than is necessary for the fulfilment of our contractual or legal obligations and for the defence of any liability claims.

  5. Transmission of data to third parties

In order to fulfil your order, it may also be necessary to pass on your data to third parties (e.g. service providers we use and to whom we make data available, etc.). Your data will only be forwarded on the basis of the DSGVO, in particular to fulfil your order or on the basis of your prior consent.

Some of the recipients of your personal data mentioned above are located outside your country or process your personal data there. The level of data protection in other countries may not be the same as in Austria. However, we will only transfer your personal data to countries for which the EU Commission has decided that they have an adequate level of data protection or we take steps to ensure that all recipients have an adequate level of data protection by entering into standard contractual clauses (2010/87/EC and/or 2004/915/EC).

  6. Server log files

In order to optimise this website in terms of system performance, user-friendliness and the provision of useful information about our services, the website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This includes your Internet Protocol address (IP address), browser and language setting, operating system, referrer URL, your Internet Service Provider and date/time.

This data is not merged with personal data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use.

  7. Cookies

Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Cookies, which are necessary for the execution of the electronic communication process or for the provision of certain functions desired by you (e.g. shopping cart function), are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO stored. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies to analyse your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are dealt with separately in this data protection declaration.
